Improving Fundraising Effectiveness

Strong non-profits need adequate capitalization and operating support  but are operating in an increasingly competitive fundraising  environment.  Furthermore, a landmark study “UnderDeveloped: A National Study of Challenges Facing Non-Profits”  released in 2013 identified development staffing turnover as a critical  issue that threatens the vitality of and future growth of the  non-profit sector.  At Praximity, we have over four decades of  experience as both CEOs/Executive Directors and as Chief Development  Officers.  We are passionate about working with non-profit leaders and  development leaders to:

• Confidentially assess the fundraising skills inside the your  organization – from the board to the development staff – and develop  concrete action plans to increase your fundraising effectiveness.
• Provide individual coaching to CEOs/Executive Directors to increase  the effectiveness of donor cultivation, solicitation and gift  stewardship. And, we coach CEOs/Executive Directors on how to work most  effectively with their boards and key development staff.
• Finally, we love to work with boards and senior management teams to  help them understand and embrace a culture of philanthropy throughout  the organization using the organization’s strategic and business  planning as the foundation for understanding the role that philanthropy  will play in moving your organization forward.
